Meet the Board

President
Christine Bolewski
A devoted mother of five and proud grandmother of two, she has lived with her husband in his childhood home on Wall Drive for over 25 years. Her greatest joys include gardening, bird watching, exploring the world, and embracing every moment of being a Nonnie.

Vice President
Nancy Rose
A resident of Rock Creek Park since 1958, she is a passionate tree hugger with a deep love for wildlife and photography. She enjoys giving back through volunteer work and takes great pride in the rich history of the community she calls home.

Tresurer & Secretary
Allison Newcomb
Allison became a resident of Rock Creek Park in 2004. Her favorite activities include kayaking, yoga and working in her yard. She sees participating in RCPIA as an opportunity to develop waterfront spaces all community members can enjoy.

Board Member
Scott Phillips
Spends most of his time tending to his garden and fishing with his boys, taking bike rides around the block with a friend or enjoying a nice bonfire with his wife. Has a background in construction, logistics, and systems engineering. He is always working on a new backyard garden project with resourceful ideas. Brings a can do, will do attitude to the job site and is willing to step up for those in need. Security and community are a top priority. Family, Friends and God. The changes the we need in the world, start at the ground level. Plant something beautiful for generations to come.

Jason Callicoat
A resident of Wall Drive for the past six years, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids and loves getting out on the boat whenever he can.

Board Member
Steve Koontz
A lifelong member of the Rock Creek Park community and a second-generation resident who has lived in the neighborhood since 1985. He has decades of experience from the restaurant industry, including work as a chef and in foodservice sales, along with a strong commitment to teamwork and service.
Also a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
He and his wife Jenn are raising four sons in the community, further strengthening their personal investment in the neighborhood’s future.
In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, building things, gardening, and helping others whenever possible. As a new board member of the Rock Creek Park Improvement Association, he looks forward to giving back to the community that has been home to his family for generations.

Mike Poist
A dedicated husband and father of two, he is proud to be part of a family with deep roots in the neighborhood—his wife's family has lived here since 1974. He enjoys boating, golfing, traveling, and making lasting memories with family and friends.
